Has Baaghi 3 been caught in the crossfire between Laxmmi Bomb and Radhe? The film starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor has not been released in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh which will affect the film’s business.
The real reason is that the exhibitors refused to get bulldozed by the studio releasing Baaghi 3 and Laxmmi Bomb. A trade source said, “The studio wanted the exhibitors to sign up for Laxmmi Bomb along with Baaghi 3 which they refused”.
The source added, “Laxxmi Bomb and Radhe are releasing on Eid. And Salman Khan is definitely more profitable on Eid as compared to Akshay Kumar. So they have turned down the proposal”.
While the controversy over theatres is one reason, exhibitor Raj Bansal said that corona virus and heavy rain in Delhi will affect the business of the film on day one.
He added, “There was an expectation of 22 cr but I think it will be around 12 cr to 14 cr. Or you can say the business of 20 to 25 per cent on day one will get affected.”
Baaghi 3 has released today and has not been carrying great reports. One will have to wait and watch if Tiger Shroff’s fans save the film or will the exhibitors have the last laugh.
