Late actress Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor left many impressed with her effortless act in Dhadak. In the Dharma production film, she was seen alongside Ishaan Khatter. While fans have been eagerly waiting to see more of Janhvi, the starkid is making sure to not hurry. It is often said that the second film is what proves an actors mettle and sticking to this policy the girl is not jumping on to grab any and every offer she receives. In fact, she is being choosy with her films.
In fact, a snippet in a newspaper this morning pointed out that Janhvi isn’t in a haste to sign films as of now because she already has two of them in her kitty. She is now filming for Karan Johar’s Takht opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor. Also, she another project in the pipeline which is Karan Johar’s Ranbhoomi. Both films are set to hit the screens in 2020. The newspaper report also pointed out that she was offered a double role, but Janhvi turned down the offer as she didn’t want any comparisons to her mother Sridevi’s famous movie Chaalbaaz. Though Janhvi’s team deny having such a film come her way, we say it was rather a smart movie on the 22-year-old’s part.
Yes, Janhvi recently, brought in her 22nd birthday with father Boney Kapoor and sister Khushi Kapoor in Varanasi. Rather than having fancy parties, the actress chose to visit the Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple preceding her intimate birthday with family. She also visited the ghats and delved in sightseeing the beautiful place of Varanasi. But what got everyone talking about Jannu’s birthday was her cake cutting with a sword. Siblings Arjun and Anshula Kapoor, cousin Sonam K Ahuja and friend Sara Ali Khan made sure to make the Dhadak actress’s birthday special.
Janhvi is currently filming for Gunjan Saxena’s biopic who was the first woman combat IAF pilot in India opposite Angad Bedi. If you don’t want to miss out on any updates or news, please keep reading CineBlitz.
