Kareena Kapoor to join Irrfan Khan – Radhika Khan for Angrezi Medium’s shoot – view pics

Kareena Kapoor Khan was recently spotted at the airport leaving for a new project that she will be starring in. She recently wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming film Good News co-starring Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles. She’s now headed for the shoot of the sequel of Hindi Medium, titled Angrezi Medium, which also stars Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan.

The Veere Di Wedding actress kept it casual as she wore a striped black and white t-shirt and jeans and accessorised it with a pair of cool sunglasses. Going by the pictures, it looks like she was at the back of the airport, making her way into her vanity van. Though she didn’t pose for the shutterbugs, she didn’t hesitate to smile at the paparazzi.

Helmed by Homi Adjania and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Bhushan Kumar, Angrezi Medium will feature Irrfan as a mithaiwala. He will be playing the role of Champak from Udaipur who runs a mithai business. Radhika Madan will be seen playing Irrfan’s daughter who goes to London to complete her studies. Kareena, on the other hand, will be seen playing a cop. The film also stars Deepak Dobrival and Manu Rishi in supporting roles. Deepak plays Irrfan’s brother, and they’ve inherited a hundred-year-old sweet business but unfortunately are rivals in the film. The film went on floors on Friday (April 6) in Udaipur. They started shooting in the city’s crowded places like Choti Brahmpuri Chowk and Amal Ka Kanta Road.

Director Homi Adjania was quoted saying, “We have been wanting to collaborate for the longest time and I would often dream of that day. Today was better than what I have ever dreamed of. Old school Irrfan doing what he does best, effortless and sublime. We are looking for a fun ride on Angrezi Medium.” Fans too are looking forward to the movie’s release.
