Kartik Aryan- Sara Ali Khan celebrate after Love Aaj Kal 2’s Delhi schedule wrap – watch video

The whole country has been waiting to see Simmba actress Sara Ali Khan share screen space with her crush, Luka Chuppi actor Kartik Aaryan. Ever since Sara’s confessions on Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan (where she said she would like to date heartthrob Kartik Aaryan) social media immediately was waiting to see this fresh pairing on-screen. While Ranveer Singh took it upon himself to break the ice between the two newbies by introducing them (caught on video) at an event, we knew it was only time that a film had to follow.

In the midst of all this excitement, there were rumours of Imtiaz Ali casting Sara and Kartik for his sequel to hit Love Aaj Kal 2. After much secrecy, the news was confirmed and shooting started in Delhi. Love Aaj Kal 2 also stars Randeep Hooda alongside Sara and Kartik. The film is an intense love story and will be shot extensively in Punjab and Delhi. It won’t be anything like Kartik has done before. As an insider reveals, “Kartik is known for his light and fun romantic roles. But with Love Aaj Kal 2, he will be seen in a rather intense romantic role.”

And now, Sara and Kartik have wrapped their Delhi schedule for the film and they were seen celebrating with Imitaz and crew. Sara shared an adorable of video where they are seen cutting a cake and then going on to a balcony to wave out to cheering fans. Sara and Kartik are seen being goofy and it’s rather endearing. Dressed in a simple pink sleeveless salwar kameez, Sara looked like the girl-next-door, while Kartik was seen sporting baggy tracks. This is the sequel of the Deepika Padukone-Saif Ali Khan’s Love Aaj Kal which did really well at the box-office reinstating Imitiaz Ali as the king of refreshing modern romance.
