Based on true events, the plot of the movie revolves around the topic of homosexuality, especially in India. It also portrays what Ismat went through after she was accused in a case of obscenity after publishing her story. Directed by Rahat Kazmi, the movie is co-written by the director herself along with Sonal Sehgal.
The first poster of the movie was unveiled at the Cannes Festival by the co-producer of the film Marc Baschet and stars actor Tannishtha Chatterjee playing Chugtai’s role. For more entertainment news and updates, stay tuned with CineBlitz.
