Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Aamir Khan shares a story of a common man’s power – watch video

Aamir Khan is a man who has always spoken about important national and social issues to the Indian masses. The intellectual actor chooses his projects wisely be it films with an underlying message or a TV show like Satyamev Jayate where he dealt with more serious issues like forced marriages, caste biases, inter-caste marriages, acid attacks on women amongst others.

The Thugs of Hindostan actor stepped out of his Bandra home to exercise the biggest democratic right as an Indian citizen by taking part in the Lok Sabha Elections happening today in Mumbai. Heading out after casting his vote at the polling station, Aamir stopped and spoke to the waiting media. Aamir narrated a story of a conversation between an American president and a normal bystander and in a very light-hearted way said something rather quite deep. It’s the everyday man who votes and chooses the leader of the country, making the common man above all.
