Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Sapna Chaudhary denies joining Congress – Here’s Proof !

Various media publications alleged that Haryanvi sensation and superstar Sapna Chaudhary has chosen to enter the world of politics by announcing her decision to join the Congress party. It was further reported that she would be going head to head with MP Hema Malini, from her constituency, Mathura. These reports came in after ex-Bigg boss contestants Shilpa Shinde and Arshi Khan joined Congress.

Some of you may have only come across Sapna Chaudhary after she appeared on the primetime show hosted by Salman Khan – Bigg Boss. However, Sapna is a megastar, a singer and dancer in North and Central India with an extremely loyal fan base. But just a day after this news started trending on social media, Sapna held a press conference to refute these claims and make her position known. As per the video shared by ANI from the press conference, Sapna strongly says, “I have not joined the Congress party. I have not joined any political party. I am not going to campaign for any political party. I am an artist.”

She further added, “I have not met Raj Babbar [Congress Uttar Pradesh unit chief]. I have not joined the Congress party. I will not contest the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.”

A picture of the actress, alongside Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, signing the form and officially joining Congress has gone viral. She clarified this by stating that these are old pictures featuring the two of them. Sapna Chaudhary won hearts when her real-life story unfolded. Chaudhary has been the sole bread earner for her rather large family and has been working hard from a very young age.
