Television and now film actress Mouni Roy has been hitting jackpot ever since she starred opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold. The film was a stepping stone for the Naagin actress. After Gold, she was recently seen in the spy-thriller Romeo Akbar Walter that starred John Abraham, Sikander Kher and Jackie Shroff. The film has made decent money at the box office. And looks like rather than celebrating RAW’s response, Mouni has begun shooting for Milind Musale’s Made In China. Yes, the actress was recently spotted on the sets of the film.
She looked chic as she donned an all black crop top and leggings and accessorised it with a pair of sunglasses. Made In China stars Rajkumar Rao in a pivotal role. Last year, Rajkumar tweeted the first look about the character which is a struggling Gujarati businessman called Raghu and Rukmini (that we guess Mouni will play) is his feisty wife. Furthermore, producer Dinesh Vijan, who saw the growing importance of Hindi films in China’s markets, with his film Hindi Medium, said that “The story of a struggling but ambitious business is so relatable and Raj and Mouni have distinct looks that are true to the film’s fabric. The shoot is going well even though we were filming in Ahmedabad’s Old City over the weekend. The gallis are so narrow that cars can’t pass through. The actors had to be ferried to the location, Lakshmi Narayan Pol, quietly in autorickshaws because after Stree, Raj is quite the rage here.”
Made In China is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Bhushan Kumar and is slated to release on August 30 this year. Till then stay tuned to CineBLitz for more Bollywood updates.
