PRIYANKA CHOPRA BUMBLE BIZ

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is known for being a strong woman and by now, most of us are well aware of her worldly knowledge and her entrepreneurial and philanthropy skills. A few months ago, she invested in a dating app called Bumble that expanded to India last year. She acts as an advisor for the app and the application basically urges women to make the first move. Now, she will be channelling Bumble Bizz that is the professional networking platform within the Bumble app to grow her global team. It is said that PeeCee and her team will search for their next marketing assistant in India who will work on the actress’ upcoming film The Sky is Pink, using this app. Priyanka will also be hiring a production intern in the US for her upcoming projects with her production company Purple Pebble. The surprise is that the app users in India and the US can match with Priyanka’s verified profile, that will give them an opportunity to be hired.

When asked about her involvement in the app, she said, “This right here is one of the many reasons why I find Bumble to be such an exciting idea. It opens the doors to multiple opportunities and gives you a chance to make unique connections based on your specific needs. When I identified the need for these positions in my team, it was only logical to look at Bumble Bizz to begin the search for the right candidate. I’m eager to see how this plays out and I’m looking forward to making new connections through this initiative.” Over the coming weeks, the Isn’t it Romantic? actress and her team will connect with a lot of Bumble Bizz users to hire them for the available positions and will later narrow it down to the top candidates. In India, the chosen candidates will join her team to work on the sets of her upcoming film, Shonali Bose’s The Sky is Pink. Apart from this, last week she launched her YouTube original If I Could Tell You Just One Thing, that chronicles her journey and asks people for their advice on how to go about changing the world.

Alex Williamson, the chief brand officer of Bumble, said, “Priyanka is an incredible global force who has undoubtedly left her mark on the world — and Bumble users adore her for that. We are thrilled to give Bumble Bizz users the opportunity to work with her directly, both in India and the United States. We truly believe that one connection can change the course of your life – whether that’s in love, friendship or business – and this is certainly a life-changing opportunity for two Bumble users.” So happy for Priyanka, as she truly is an inspiration!

Workwise, she will be next seen in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink alongside Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf. Until then stay tuned to CineBlitz for more updates.
