Henna BrarThe talented newbie, Radhika Madan, made a stellar debut with Vishal Bhardwaj’s Pataakha, and then went on to win audiences’ hearts with her second film, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota. She recently started shooting for the first schedule of her next film, Angrezi Medium, with Irrfan Khan in Udaipur, Rajasthan. She, however, took some time out from the film’s shoot recently for a personal reason.
A source informs, “The schedule kick-started in the first week of April. Despite the hectic work schedule, Radhika has managed to take out time to attend the wedding of her best friend. This is the first time she witnessed a Bengali wedding and considering it was her best friend, she didn’t want to miss out the ceremony.” (sic)
Further, Radhika says, “I feel very privileged to have come across such a role at the nascent stage of my career. Term it as sheer coincidence or luck that my shoot happened to be close to my best friend’s wedding destination. My family and friends have always been an integral part of my life and I don’t mind going the extra mile for them.” (sic)
Looks like Radhika has been experiencing a lot of firsts, of late. For starters, she was the perfect bridesmaid for her best friend’s wedding which was her first Bengali wedding, and then the film’s shooting in Udaipur which makes it the first time she’s ever visited the place.
