RAJINIKANTH ARRIVING IN MUMBAI

A few weeks ago, there was a big reveal of superstar Rajinikanth’s new project. It was said that he will be working with AR Murugadoss on a film tentatively titled Thalaivar 166. Today, it was revealed that the Hindi name of the film will be Darbar. While Rajini fans are all excited about this film, the news is that the superstar has landed in Mumbai today to commence the shooting of the film. It was also disclosed that the film will go on floors on April 10. Rajinikanth was all smiles for the cameras at the Mumbai airport where he was spotted. The film will also star Nayanthara in a key role.

The 2.0 actor donned a white sherwani as he made his way to the car.  His fans are thrilled about Rajini teaming up with ace director Murugadoss. What’s even more exciting is that Rajinikanth and Nayanthara aren’t coming together for the first time. Their previous projects were Sivaji, Chandramukhi and Kulesan. Darbar is all set to release on Pongal 2020. This film will mark Rajinikanth’s third Pongal release.  It is believed that Pongal is an auspicious occasion for his films as his previous Pongal releases, Petta (2019) and Baasha (1995), were both box office super hits.
