Earlier rapper Hard Kaur had been charged for sedition on her social media posts against Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityananth and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. An FIR was registered against her by a Varanasi-based lawyer. And Hard Kaur was booked under Sections 124 A (Sedition), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion), 500 (defamation) and 505 (intent to incite) of the Indian Penal Code and section 66 of the IT Act. Now, the latest news is that the rapper has extended her support to a referendum run by Sikhs for Justice campaign.

In a series of social media posts, Hard Kaur was seen pleading her fans to vote for Khalistan as a part of the Referendum 2020 movement. For those who don’t know, the Referendum movement 2020 took place after the Sikhs Justice Organisation had been banned and called unlawful, after which the group started promoting an online campaign called Referendum 2020 demanding separate land for the Sikhs. In her post, Hard was seen lip-syncing to one of the songs. And captioned it saying, “REFERENDUM 2020 KHALISTAN @sikhs.for.justice “NA TEERON SE NAA TALWAARO SE, SIKH KAUM DARRE GADAARO SE, HUMKO KISSI SE KOI KHATRA NAHI, DARR LAGTA HAI KHUD KE YAARO SE” #khalistan #khalistanzindabad.” Check out her post here:
