Rasika Dugal puts on her dancing shoes for Lootcase

Powerhouse performer Rasika Dugal, who has carved a place for herself as a versatile actor with her strong characters in content-driven films, is all set to explore  comedy with her upcoming film ‘Lootcase’ in which she essays the lead role.

Sharing screen space with Kunal Kemmu , Rasika Dugal unfolds an unseen facet of her personality with Lootcase. The actor, who has essayed powerful characters in many dramas in the past, will be seen shaking a leg for the first time in the family entertainer.

Talking about her experience, Rasika Dugal shares, “I am thrilled that I am in a film which has a lip synced song ! And that I got to dance to it. Before this, I was beginning to wonder if my career would be devoid of this quintessential bollywood experience . Filming for the song sequence was a totally new experience for me and a lot of fun. Choreographer Adil Shaikh and his team made it feel like a breeze. “

It would be refreshing to witness the actor step into a light-hearted character after delivering tough roles over the years. Winning accolades for her impactful performances in films like Kshay, Qissa, Manto, and Hamid amongst others along with series including Mirzapur, Out of Love, Delhi Crime, etc, Rasika Dugal is touted as one of the most versatile actors of  recent times. And with this she adds another feather to that cap.

Along with Lootcase, Rasika Dugal’s upcoming projects include Mira Nair’s A Suitable Boy, Mirzapur Season 2, Delhi Crime Season 2, Lord Curzon Ki Haveli and a few unannounced projects..
