SC to hear Rhea plea in Sushant Singh Rajput case on Friday

The actress wants the apex court to transfer the abetment to suicide case from Patna to Mumbai

Rhea Chakraborty’s petition is likely to be heard by the Supreme Court on Friday morning. The actress has moved to the Supreme Court asking the apex court to transfer the Patna FIR case against her to Mumbai. Her counsel Satish Maneshinde said, “We have moved to the Supreme Court with the plea to transfer the investigation to Mumbai as the call of action arose in Mumbai and investigations are pending in Mumbai under section 174 of the CRPC.”

Also, in the meantime Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh too has filed a caveat in the apex court with the request that his side should be heard before Rhea’s plea. On Thursday, the Supreme Court rejected a PIL filed by a lawyer Alka Priya who had filed a plea requesting a CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The court rejected the plea and said, “Let the police do their job”.
