Sealed: Residential complex where many Bollywood big shots live goes into quarantine
Rajkumar Rao and Vicky Kaushal society partially sealed
One of Andheri’s poshest housing complexes Oberoi Springs which houses some of the top film personalities has been partially sealed by the municipal authorities.
It is learnt that a relative of a doctor has got infected and that has led to the partial sealing of the complex.
Some of the Bollywood celebrities who reside in the complex are Rajkumar Rao, Vicky Kaushal, Anand L Rai, Ahmed Khan, Chahat Khanna, Mukesh Chhabra and Chitrangda Singh.
A resident of the building told us, “We are not allowed to go out but everything is being made available to us.”
As the number of COVID-19 positive cases increase, many areas are being quarantined and sealed in Mumbai and elsewhere in Maharashtra which is the most affected state in the country.
Other celebrities whose residential areas too have been quarantined are the likes of TV and film actress Ankita Lokhande, Lipstick Under My Burkha fame actress Ahana Kumra. CINTAA’s general secretary Sushant Singh’s building is also under quarantine. The building of Tanmay Vekaria of Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma fame too is under quarantine.
The time will tell as for how many days will the lockdown continue after May 3. Movie and TV business is severely affected because of COVID-19.
