Shah Rukh Khan honored with a Dubai Star accolade – details inside

Having received various awards and accolades throughout his life, legendary actor Shah Rukh Khan added another feather to his cap. The actor, who is one of the biggest ambassadors of Dubai in India, was accorded a star by the Dubai Stars, which is similar to Hollywood’s Walk of Fame in UAE.

The star which is awarded to entertainers and sportsmen was given to SRK, who confirmed his participation with footballer like Lionel Messi last October. The news was announced by the Dubai Stars’ official page on twitter with a post captioned “*Drum roll* Revealing one of the most nominated celebrities for #TheDubaiStars. We’re incredibly excited to award @iamsrk his very own ‘Dubai Star’. Congratulations!” Check out the post here:

The Dubai Stars reportedly have more than 10,000 stars on their sidewalks and is one of the most respected accolades by the celebrities.

Recently, Shah Rukh was busy with his daughter’s graduation ceremony from Ardingly College in London and has been promoting his upcoming venture with Disney’s Lion King where he’s voicing the character of Mufasa for the movie’s Hindi release.
