Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan attend Raj Thackeray’s son Amit’s wedding

The wedding of Amit Thackeray, son of MNS Chief Raj Thackeray with fashion designer Mitali Borude had the entire Thackeray family under one roof. Leaving their political and personal differences aside, Shiv Sena Chief Udhav Thackeray accompanied by his wife Rashmi, son Aaditya and brother Jaidev graced the grand occasion. Amit, the groom looked dapper in a black tuxedo and the bride looked ravishing in a heavily embroidered, red pink ghagra-choli, as they greeted guests on stage.
The guest list was endless. It included politicians, industrialists and Bollywood celebrities. Amitabh Bachchan and Jeetendra were the first to make their appearance followed by others from the fraternity. The Khan triumvirate is rarely seen at the same event but for Raj Thackeray’s son’s wedding all three remained present.

Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan came to greet the couple. Farhan Akhtar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sonali Kulkarni, Urmila Matondkar and Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar also graced the occassion. Also present was the legendary singer Asha Bhosle. From the political arena, most of the top guns were present. Former union home minister Sushilkumar Shinde and his daughter Praniti Shinde, NCP supremo Sharad Pawar with his family, BJP city chief Ashish Shelar and former deputy chief minister Chaggan Bhujbal walked in to wish the couple.

Also spotted at the grand occasion were industrialist Ratan Tata and cricketing great Sachin Tendulkar with wife Anjali. While Amit, a commerce graduate, has been actively involved in his father Raj’s various political rallies, Mitali, a fashion designer, is the daughter of the well-known bariatric surgeon Dr Sanjay Borude.
