Shah Rukh Khan’s emotional tweet for Andre Russell is winning the internet

Kolkata Knight Riders started off this IPL season with a bang but lately, the team has been going through a bad phase. Yesterday (April 19), the match between Kolkata Knight Riders vs Bangalore Royal Challengers was quite intense but it seemed close to impossible for KKR to win the match against RCB at the Eden Gardens stadium. It marked KKR’s fifth consecutive defeat in the league and it left their fans heartbroken. More than anything, they were hoping for their hero Andre Russell to score since he has been the one behind most of KKR’s win.

After the loss, KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter and posted a rather emotional message for Andre Russell. He wrote, “I feel it’s only fair for KKR to do something in return for @Russell12A, like winning a few before the season ends.” Awww…that’s indeed very sweet, no?

Guess SRK realised that fans were expecting too much from Russell and hence he shared a message was on point. Don’t you guys agree? While KKR started off on a good note, let’s hope they end this season on the same note as well.
