Taapsee Pannu – Bhumi Pednekar bid an emotional farewell to Saand Ki Aankh

Actresses Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar are known to go against the tide and pick projects that stay true to real women irrespective of the glamour quotient involved. Leading this fresh pack of talent in B-Town both actresses have proven their worth with the hit films they have delivered between them from Badla, Pink, Toilet Ek Prem Katha amongst others. The two actresses have come together for their next project which is yet another unconventional, but a super interesting script. In Saand Ki Aankh, Bhumi and Taapsee will be playing the role of the world’s oldest women sharpshooters. Bhumi will be seen as Chandro Tomar while Tapsee will be playing Prakashi Tomar. Staying true to their roles, both the actresses have visibly added years to their look with the help of make-up, something that didn’t bother these young ladies at all, which is what we love.

The actresses just wrapped shooting for the film and they took to their Instagram to share their feelings – Taapsee shared a picture of the costume jewellery that her character wore in the movie and captioned it, “ #PrakashiTomar you will live in me forever n ever ! #SaandKiAankh” Meanwhile Bhumi shared a picture of herself dressed as Chandro Tomar with her face hidden and wrote a rather heart felt caption saying, “Name-Chandro Tomar Age 65 years Profession-Mother,Grandmother & Sharp Shooter. She will always and forever be a part of me 🙂 Chandrotomar#Saandkiaankh”
