The trend of recreating old iconic songs is not going anywhere soon. Joining the list is the new number Paisa Ye Paisa from Total Dhamaal. With Madhuri Dixit Nene on screen, you can’t move your eyes away, but the complete song as a package is a big NO!

Paisa Ye Paisa is inspired from the hit song by the same name in the 1980 film Karz. The song has been recreated by Gourav-Roshin and the vocals are by Dev Negi, Subhro Ganguly and Arpita Chakraborty. The lyrics of the song have also been changed a bit, and the new lyrics are written by Kunwar Juneja. The song features the complete cast including Madhuri, Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Ritesh Deshmukh and a few more. While the music doesn’t fail to impress and the beats are catchy, it is a let-down when it comes to the visuals. Madhuri looks beautiful in her shimmery gowns, but she fails to evoke her earlier magic. All the things together don’t make this song a good-watch. The song will make it to the playlist for some, but not for the ones who have loved the Laxmikant-Pyarelal version which had a brilliant orchestration. Let’s see what reviews it gathers from the audience.

Karz, starring Tina Ambani featured Rishi Kapoor in the song Paisa Ye Paisa. The song was a huge hit then which increases the challenege for the new one. Earlier this month the trailer of Total Dhamaal was released. This is the third instalment in the Dhamaal franchise. The trailer is full of comic moments with good punch lines that have created excitement among the fans. With Madhuri, Ajay and Anil being the new entries to the cast, the scale has reached a notch higher. For more updates about the film and Bollywood, stay tuned to Cine Blitz.
