TV actress Preksha Mehta commits suicide !

TV actress Preksha Mehta who acted in shows like Crime Patrol, Meri Durga, and Laal Ishq committed suicide at her residence. She was 25.

According to the police the actress had been suffering from depression for a while.

The actress’s body was found hanging from a ceiling fan by her family members on Tuesday morning. She left behind a suicide note in which had expressed disappointment regarding her career and relationships. the police had sent her body for post-mortem. The actress had posted a cryptic message on her instagram . She wrote, “Sabse bura hota hai, sapnon ka mar jaana (The death of the dreams is the worst) she posted.

Just before the lockdown the actress had returned to her hometown from Mumbai. This is the second instance of a TV actor committed suicide due to financial issues. On May 15, actor Manmeet Grewal, who worked on shows like “Aadat Se Majboor” and “Kuldeepak”, committed suicide due to financial issues.
