Uri: The Surgical Strike released last week and since then, it has received much praise and adulation, apart from recording impressive box office collections. Based on the Indian Army’s 2016 Uri surgical strikes, the Aditya Dhar film produced by Ronnie Screwvala pays a tribute to the Indian Army and is packed with emotions and blazing with pride and patriotism. The makers of the film recently threw a party to celebrate the success of their film and by the looks of it, seemed like it was a fun-filled affair.
Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam were twinning in identical black t-shirts with ‘How’s the Josh’ imprinted on them, referring to the hit dialogue from the film. While Yami paired her tee with blue denims, Vicky opted to wear black on black. TV star Mohit Raina who’s made his Bollywood debut with Uri was seen posing for the shutterbugs. Dressed in a sari, Swaroop Sampat came in with hubby Paresh Rawal – who was also sporting the Josh –t-shirt – and the rarely snapped together couple made for a lovely pic.
Ronnie Screwvala was seen chatting with Aditya Dhar, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Abhishek Kapoor, who had come in with his gorgeous wife Pragya Yadav. Radhika Apte made for a gorgeous sight in a black striped power-suit. Shishir Sharma and Rakesh Bedi were also seen enjoying the do. The team was in full josh and made sure that everyone at the party was enjoying too.
The party held at a popular suburban hotspot had crowds thronging to get a glimpse of all the action happening inside and with fans lined up for selfies, it was a charged atmosphere.
