Urmila Matondkar entering politics made her one of the most-discussed celebrities in the news. She contested for the elections on a Congress ticket, but failed to reach the mark and win a seat. Amidst this, a derogatory post regarding the actor-politician was discovered when a female Maharashtra Navnirman Sena office-bearer flagged the post. Soon action was taken against the person responsible for the act and he was charged for the wrongdoing.
The man in talks is a 57-year-old man, identified as Dhananjay Kudtarkar from Pune, Maharashtra. It is reported that a case has been registered against the man under section 354 (A) 1 (4) (making sexually coloured remarks; shall be guilty of the offence of sexual harassment) and sections of IT Act. No detention has been made so far as the investigation is underway.
