Varun Dhawan donates Rs 55 lacs to PM relief fund!

Ever since the coronavirus outbreak, actor Varun Dhawan has been constantly appealing his fans to stay indoors and follow the rules put out by the government. With the 21 day lockdown, the entire country is in a standstill. The country’s economy has taken been affected too. Amidst all this, actor Varun Dhawan donates 55lacs total between PM-CARES Fund and CM Relief Fund.

It maybe noted here that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had made an announcement on Saturday requesting people to donate generously to fight the war against Covid 19.

Akshay Kumar announced a donation of Rs 25 cr just after Modi made the plea to Indian citizen asking each and everyone to contribute even if it is on a micro level.

There are about 900 active cases of Corona positive in India with 185 cases in Maharashtra. The disease has claimed the lives of 16 people
