Last night, Vicky Kaushal won his first award of the year for his film Uri: The Suical Strike which is still minting big money at the theatres. The talented actor was presented the Dada Saheb Phalke Award for his performance in the military drama. Apart from the Uri star, a lot of B-town celebs also attended the 2019 Dada Saheb Phalke Awards ceremony. Mouni Roy, who made her Bollywood debut with Gold last year, arrived looking gorgeous in a white printed sari. Drishyam actress Shreya Saran also looked pretty in her off shoulder maroon sari which had a bit of bling too.

Apart from these three celebs, Aayush Sharma, Sunil Grover, Lalit Pandit, Guru Randhawa, Malishka Mendonca and Sahil Khan were also spotted at the do. Celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani also made his presence felt along with wife Manisha D Ratnani. The event also saw stars from the television industry as well. Giaa Manek, who became a household after starring in the hit show Saath Nibhana Sathiya, was also a part of the awards ceremony along with Chahat Khanna, Bandagi Kalra and Puneet Sharma of the Bigg Boss fame.

Coming back to the star of the night, Vicky too made a stylish entry at the event wearing a blue suit. The tall, dark and handsome actor looked dapper in his three-piece ensemble. While Vicky’s film Uri has truly outperformed itself at the box office, the 30-year-old has two more impressive films lined up for this year – Karan Johar’s magnum opus Takht and Bhanu Pratap Singh’s horror film co-starring Bhumi Pednekar.
