Vicky Kaushal’s father opens up about the actor’s nasty injury!

Uri: The Surgical Strike actor Vicky Kaushal is having a rather rough time after he got injured on the sets while shooting. The accident led him to getting 13 stitches on his cheekbone. Yes! You read that right. The actor injured himself while on set for Bhanu Pratap Singh’s horror project in Gujarat last week. The unfortunate incident took place while he was shooting an action sequence where he had to run and open a door, but due to some error, the door fell right back on him injuring him. The actor is now back home here and resting. He will resume shooting once he has healed.

Many Bollywood celebrities like Shahid Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Meghna Gulzar, Ishaan Khatter, Dia Mirza reached out to the actor on social media. Vicky’s father, action director Sham Kaushal spoke about his son’s incident to a publication saying: “Thanks for the concern. Vicky has just returned home yesterday. I am busy shooting in Kerala. So haven’t met him but spoke to him about his well being. He is fine now.”

He further added, “Unquestionably, as parents, we do get worried but by God’s grace he is doing fine. Sometimes the grehas are unsuitable at a particular time and so all this happens, I feel. However, we always wish things to fall in place in the end.”
