Vivekanand Oberoi, who is quite a social media buff, recently posted a pic that made netizens cringe. He recently shared a meme, but it did not go down well with the netizens. He was taking a dig at the current political situation, but the reference he used to make a point was not acceptable to the Twitter users.

He shared a meme based on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s love life in the past few years which compared how in politics – opinion polls, exit polls and the actual result are all different from each other. The meme had the caption ‘opinion poll’ below the picture of Aishwarya and ex-boyfriend Salman Khan, and had the caption ‘exit poll’ below the picture of Aishwarya and Vivek, while the caption ‘results’ was written below Aishwarya and hubby Abhishek Bachchan’s picture. Vivek captioned the image as, “Haha! creative! No politics here….just life.” But the actor had to face much backlash for using such a reference.

While many appreciated how he is so calm about such things and has learned to move on, many reprimanded the action. Check out the tweet right here:

On the work front, Vivek’s film PM Narendra Modi has finally got a green flag and is now releasing on May 24. It was initially slated to release on April 11. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more such updates and news.
