Co-directed by Deepa Mehta, Shanker Raman and Pawan Kumar, the series is based on a book by Prayaag Akbar. Set in a dystopian future in a city that thrives on purity and the citizens are so prude about it that they live in a discriminated set-up based on the caste, religion and class. The story traces a mother and her journey to find her daughter, longing, loss and faith being the underlined thought. The new poster that was released today features a blindfolded Huma looking full of intrigue, while she makes the peace symbol with her fingers. The poster says ‘Commit to the cause’.
