As we all know, Urmila Matondkar is all set to make her political debut this election season with her contesting in the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Yesterday (April 8) we informed you that the actress visited the collector’s office to fill the nomination form. For the ones who don’t know, anyone contesting the elections has to submit an account of all his movable assets and valuable belongings. Urmila also had to submit the same and the actress has in all declared worth Rs 41 crore of movable property and also shown her immovable properties. Below are all the details you would like to know about the same.

Urmila Matondkar is contesting in 2019 election for the Mumbai North seat with the Congress ticket. While she filled her nomination yesterday, she declared her movable assets worth Rs 41 crore which includes shares, bonds, mutual funds worth Rs 28.28 crore and a Mercedes car. The actress also declared her immovable property which includes four apartments in Bandra. The cost of the total property as per the current market is Rs 27.34 crore. The actress-turned-politician has mentioned her source of income as rent, capital gain, investment, professional receipt, and dividend. Her education background specifies that she has studied up to second-year BA from Ruparel College in Matunga and there are no criminal cases pending against her.

Yesterday the actress was accompanied by her husband Mohsin Mir who is a businessman and a local Congress leader. Urmila is contesting the election for the same seat that more than a decade back was contested by Govinda and he had even won. He was in power from 2004 to 2009 in the Mumbai North constituency. Lok Sabha election 2019 begins on April 11 and will be conducted in seven phases till May 19 and the results for the same will be out on May 23.
