Hasti DoshiThe result day of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 is here and many are awaiting the results with bated breath. We had informed you about the B-Towners who had stepped out to cast their votes. However, Anil Kapoor was among those who were not seen voting. The actor has tweeted in the past about the importance of voting, so it was surprising to see Anil himself go missing on the day.
But the actor had his valid reasons. When asked about it at an event, Anil Kapoor explained, “I was with my doctor in Munich and I had taken this appointment one to one-and-a-half years ago. You all know I have this calcification in my shoulder and I had an appointment for exactly that day. It’s a 4-day session so Sunita and I were in Munich.”
However, Anil did try to cast his vote as he further said, “We tried to vote from the embassy there but they said, there is no such facility for voting from there in India. I feel in near future such facilities should be available that a person can vote from anywhere he is, that will be very good.”
