The Lok Sabha Elections will commence exactly three days from now. Meanwhile, today Priya Dutt marked her attendance at the collector’s office and filled up her nomination form for the Mumbai North Central Parliamentary constituency. She was accompanied by her actor brother Sanjay Dutt, husband Owen Roncon and few other congress leaders. Apart from her, Urmila Matondkar also filled up her nomination papers today for the Mumbai North division seat. She was accompanied by her hubby Mohsin Akhtar Mir.

As the election season has already begun, candidates are rushing to the collector’s office to fill up their nomination forms and get a stamp on their candidature. Earlier in the day, Priya Dutt and Urmila Matondkar were spotted doing so. Both the ladies are contesting the elections with Congress ticket. Interestingly, the Rangeela heroine is contesting for the same seat that superstar Govinda had contested for and won in 2004. The good-looking actress has begun her campaigning and was seen rallying in the constituency she is contesting for. While Urmila is making her debut in politics this year, Priya Dutt, on the other hand, has good experience as she has been a part of Congress party since 2005.

The upcoming elections will begin on April 11 and will be conducted in seven phases till May 19. The result for the same will be announced on May 23. This year many Bollywood faces will be seen contesting the elections. The list is long and it includes the likes of Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha, Jaya Pradha, Shilpa Shinde and a few more names.
