Lok Sabha elections 2019 began yesterday (April 11) and the political season is at its peak now. All the parties in the meanwhile have been trying hard to impress people and convince them to vote their party. However, recently a photoshopped picture of Bollywood power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone went viral. They can be seen promoting the political party BJP and requesting people to vote for them. The image is morphed and here is all you need to know about the same.
Social media is one of the largest influencers these days and many people are using it to their fullest. So, naturally when a picture of Ranveer and Deepika promoting BJP broke all over the internet, it left everyone confused. The picture shows them standing together with a saffron scarf around their shoulders written ‘Vote for BJP’ on it. The text accompanying with the image says “Kamal Ka button dabakar desh ki tarraki mein bhagidar bane.” It can clearly be seen that the image is morphed. The used image was actually taken when newlyweds Ranveer and Deepika visited the Siddhivinayak temple in the city to seek blessings after they got married in November last year (2018). The photo was first spotted on a Facebook page which goes by the name Ek Bihari 100 Pe Bhari. The perfect source of the image is still not known but the netizens are not impressed by this move at all. Everyone is eager to know what the couple has to say about this. It was a few months ago we saw Ranveer with many of his contemporaries including Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and many more visit the capital to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Lok Sabha Election 2019 began on April 11 and will be conducted in seven phases till May 19 and the result for the same will be out on May 23.
