Mumbai will cast its vote for the 2019 Lok Sabha election on Monday (April 29). While India’s game of throne is getting quite interesting, the latest news is that cricketer Virat Kohli won’t be able to vote from Mumbai. The cricketer wished to vote from the area his new pad is in and had even filed the application for the same but it was rejected by the Election Commission (EC).
The cricketer, who married Anushka Sharma in 2017, bought a house in Worli just around his wedding. Wishing to cast a vote, he filed an application to the EC but it was rejected because the cricketer filed his application after the deadline which was March 30. So, Virat won’t be voting, but wife Anushka Sharma will still cast her vote from her old constituency in Andheri.
