Mahesh Bhatt’s TV series Udaan’s actors come together for a single

Udaan on Colors TV was produced by Mahesh Bhatt and was originally planned as a film that was eventually shelved. The show became one of the longest-running television shows on Colors TV with more than 1300 episodes. It featured actors such as Meera Deosthale, Toral Rasputra, Sai Deodhar, Amit Dolawat, Ginnie Virdi, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Suhasini Mulay, etc.

The single features actor Gaurav Sareen and actress Amika Shail and has been sung by Indian Idol Winner Salman Ali. Directed by Vijay Verma and choreographed by Sanjeev Sharma. Both Amika and Gaurav were a part of Udaan. Commenting on the association Amika said “This song brought back the memories of Udaan and made me nostalgic. The series was extremely special to me for many reasons – one being that I started as an actor with Udaan. I always used to admire Gaurav Sareen’s work. It would be interesting to see what will be the reaction of Udaan fans toward the song. I look forward to more such projects with the ensemble cast of Udaan.”

The song will set the ball rolling for the other two songs of the actress which have been shot and are in the editing process. “This song is a heartbreak number and I have been receiving many messages from the people who have seen the song during edits. The song made their eyes moist. I hope the audiences bestow their support and endless love to the song like they have done for my other projects” said Amika as she signed off for the moment.
