Malaal trailer: Meezaan Jaaferi and Sharmin Segal look promising

While Sanjay Leela Bhansali is celebrated in the industry, his launch pad is a privilege for many.  And for his next production, SLB has chosen to launch two new stars, Sharmin Segal and Meezaan (Jaaferi). The two newcomers are a part of Malaal. The film’s trailer released today (May 18) and going by it these newbies look promising.

Javed Jaaferi’s son Meezaan looks quite promising in the 3-minute long trailer. Even Bhansali’s niece Sharmin looks pretty convincing. The story is about Shiva (Meezaan) and Astha (Sharmin) who are neighbors. While their views clash over small issues, they eventually fall for each other and then their lives take a twist. The film is directed by Mangesh Hadawale and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain and Krishan Kumar. It will be hitting theatres on June 28. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more updates on this front.
