Malyalam actor Tony Luke underwent a massive weight loss for Badla- here’s how!

While Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Shah Rukh Khan are busy promoting their film Badla, we, on the other hand, have learned a fun fact about the film. Well, Malayalam actor and supermodel Tony Luke is making his big Bollywood debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s highly anticipated film. However, it wasn’t an easy ride for Tony as he had to transform himself to play the part. If you have seen the trailer of Badla then you might have noticed a chiseled guy with flashboard abs in it. Yes, that’s Tony and he stars opposite Taapsee in the film. The 33-year-old really had to work hard on his body so he could flaunt it in the film.

The actor had actually gained weight for his south film and his character in Badla required him to be lean and muscular. So he shed 10 kilos and that too in just two weeks for his Bollywood debut. Talking about his journey, Tony said, “I had gained a few kilos for my south film before leaving for Badla shoot. I had almost two weeks to lose the weight I had gained since I was required to be in lean, muscular physique for Badla. I was required to lose 8% fat to get in the perfect form. To attain the same, I went through a combination of intermittent fasting and keto diet. I combined the diet with a rigorous workout for 2-3 hours a day during my fasting period.”

Further, the actor added, “It’s a very intense and tiring regime because you need to follow it up every day. With no food as a source of energy, my body used the fat as fuel. Within a week I started getting results and in two weeks I was in the perfect physique for the shoot.”Since Tony had no trainer, he did everything on his own and attained the perfect body in time. Now that’s what you call dedication, right? While we are mighty impressed with Tony Luke’s body, let’s hope he manages to wow us with his performance as well.
