Mammootty starrer Mamangam’s first poster goes viral

M.Padmakumar’s Mamangam that stars Mammootty recently unveiled their first and it has already gone viral on social media. The poster features Mammootty as a warrior in a battle sequence with a sword and a shield in his hand.

While the film is under production the team have completed 80 days of the planned 120-day shoot. They are filming in locations such as Ernakulam, Kannur, Vagamon and Athirapally.

The Malayalam film, which is mounted on a grand budget, is an upcoming period drama based on the group of rebellious warriors who join hands to overthrow the Zamorin rulers. As per reports, the title comes from the name of the grand medieval fair in which skilled warriors come together to display their fighting prowess. Produced by Venu Kunnappilly the film also stars Prachi Tehlan, Malavika Menon, Neeraj Madhav, Unni Mukundan, Prachi Desai and Kaniha. It is slated to release this year.
