The controversy surrounding Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is refusing to die down. After Krish alleged that he had shot more than 70 per cent of the film and Kangana Ranaut had taken away his credit, the war of words continued. Kangana’s sister Rangoli alleged that Krish had walked out and the actress was left to do his cleaning up. Producer Kamal Jain, who hasn’t been well, was quiet till now. However, looks like he is frustrated as well. Kamal slammed Krish for trying to claim credit that he doesn’t deserve!

Kamal Jain further added that the filmmaker was creating a controversy only because Manikarnika was successful. As he mentioned in an official statement, “It’s very sad how Krish is trying to claim credit for what he doesn’t deserve. It was mine and studio’s collective decision to give credits the way they are. To attack Kangana who stood by the film from beginning to end is very sad. Whatever she did she could have not done without production and creative team’s consent. For Krish rather than making it a media trial specifically after huge critical claim and box office success is a clear attempt to harm our film.”

Kamal Jain also added that Krish was informed about each decision, which the filmmaker has denied earlier. As the producer added, “Why doesn’t he go legal way if he is speaking the truth and prove his claims? We tried to handle this matter on every level. Nothing was done without informing him. It’s sad he chose to create this controversy at this stage.” What do you have to say about this revelation? Share with us your thoughts in the comments section below!
