Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota Rappan Rappi Rap song: Abhimanyu Dassani – Radhika Madan’s peppy number will leave you surprised

Yesterday, the makers of Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota dropped the teaser of the song Rappan Rappi Rap and today evening (March 13) they released the entire track. Is it any good? Did it impress us big time? Well, the song starts off with some techno music and you get to see Gulshan Devaiah sitting on a chair, reading a burning newspaper which also reads “budget tang par hausala buland music video.” Basically, it means even though the budget is low, they are dedicated to making this music video.

Sung by Benny Dayal and composed by Karan Kulkarni, the rap song is majorly picturized on the lead pair – Radhika Madan and Abhimanyu Dassani. The two are sporting a cool avatar in the video which looks nice. And even the background score and the initial music is very catchy as it gives out disco vibes. But somehow the song didn’t quite impress us. Though the lyrics are quirky, we weren’t completely hooked to it. Also, we felt the music and the lyrics didn’t sync well together. Coming to the film, it’s about a boy who has a bizarre disorder due to which he cannot feel any pain. Since it’s an action-packed comedy film, it surely has a lot to offer. Last year, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota was even screened at the prestigious MAMI film festival where it impressed many. Produced under the banner of Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP, the film is slated for release on March 21. Since the concept of the film seems fun and interesting, let’s see whether it manages to wow the movie buffs or not.
