Ever since Rani Mukerji’s film Mardaani 2 has been announced, the fans are eager to see Rani in the cop avatar again. The actress was in Rajasthan for the shoot of the film and as she wrapped up her work, she received a special gift from a resident of Rajasthan. Yes, Rani was gifted a special portrait of her.

Reports suggest that she was gifted this portrait by Jaipur-based painter and art director, Babu Saini, who is also an old acquaintance and a colleague of the actress. The two have worked together first in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and have fond memories of working together. To show his appreciation for her work, Saini decided to gift Rani this special painting.

A news report quoted a source saying, “When Saini presented her this portrait, Rani was very touched. He painted her in herMardaani 2 look, a film that she is very proud of. She was overwhelmed and informed him that she will put this up in her house. It also shows the kind of affection and appreciation and respect that technicians and crew members have for Rani as a person and her body of work.”

Talking about the film, Rani reprises the role of the fearless and committed Superintendent of Police, Shivani Shivaji Roy in Mardaani 2.
