Are you a fan of the American musical-drama Begin Again? If yes, brace yourselves to witness the Hindi remake of the film. You read it right, the film is being adapted in Hindi and here is all you need to know.

The loved and celebrated 2014 musical drama is going to be adapted in Hindi by T-series and Abundantia Entertainment together. It will be directed by the Veere Di Wedding director Shashanka Ghosh, and the music of the film will be done by T-series. The music of Begin Again was the high point of the film as it was based on two people from the music industry. The songs were highly praised by the audience and were instant hits. Therefore,  the pressure on T-series to make the Hindi album as good as the English one is high, and they have to work up to it to win. The script for the Hindi adaptation is under process right now and is being done by Arshad Syed. “We want to tell a story about the world of music. The world explored here is deeper than surface level- heart, hurt, passion, and above all – music,” says director Shashanka Ghosh. The casting for the film is yet to be done

The original film Begin Again stars Mark Ruffalo, Keira Knightley and Adam Levine in lead roles. The film revolves around a chance encounter between a struggling record-label executive and a young singer-songwriter, which turns out to be a promising collaboration between the two talents. It will be great to see what Bollywood churns out of this amazing film, and whether it does justice to the original or not. With the adaptation of Begin Again being announced, it also reminds us of another hit Hollywood film being remade in Bollywood which is, The Fault in Our Stars; the Bollywood title for which is Kizzy aur Manny, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi in lead roles. Let us know in the comments section how excited you are about the remake of Begin Again.
