Mental Hai Kya: Kangana Ranaut – Rajkummar Rao’s film gets a new title
After objections raised by the Indian Psychiatric Society, the team of Mental Hai Kya have now locked in a new title
After being surrounded by several controversies, Kangana Ranaut – Rajkummar Rao-starrer Mental Hai Kya now has positive news. The film had run into trouble with the Indian Psychiatric Society that had strongly objected to the title. Post this, the makers have finally changed the title. Mental Hai Kya has now become Judgementall Hai Kya.
Balaji Telefilms’ official spokesperson was quoted as saying, “Given the sensitivity attached to the issue of mental health and our intention of not offending or hurting anyone’s sentiments, the makers have decided to change the title of the film Mental Hai Kya to Judgementall Hai Kya.”
The spokesperson further added, “…CBFC has cleared the film with U/A certification with minor changes, which the makers are happy to comply with.” The word ‘mental’ that was used several times in the film and in the songs, after a mutual decision of the team have been muted. “Understanding the sensitivity of the issue, the makers have readily agreed to mute certain words. The film’s title track is undergoing a revamp,” the spokesperson added.
