#MeToo: Ajay Devgn helps Luv Ranjan duck question; clarifies Alok Nath’s presence in De De Pyaar De

The #MeToo movement took over Bollywood last year, with several big names surfacing. From Alok Nath to Vikas Bahl and Luv Ranjan, several celebrities were accused of misusing power and taking advantage of women. Two such #MeToo accused, Luv Ranjan and Alok Nath are a part of Ajay Devgn’s next, De De Pyaar De. The trailer of the movie was released today and at the launch Luv, who is the producer, was present. And when he was asked about the #MeToo accusations as well as Alok Nath’s presence, Ajay Devgn jumped in and here’s what followed!

Luv Ranjan was called on stage for just one question, that too by Ajay Devgn as the question was related to Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. However, as soon as he came up, he was asked about the #MeToo movement and questioned about Alok Nath’s presence in the movie. He was about to be asked about his accusations as well, when Ajay Devgn intervened. The superstar helped the filmmaker duck the question and gave a reply on everyone’s behalf. Ajay Devgn replied, “This is not the place for this! The movie was also made way before these things came out.” We wish Luv Ranjan had given an answer to this question too.

Coming back to the De De Pyaar De trailer launch, the promo was shown at the event. And we have to say it is quite hilarious and full of surprises.
