While the story of actor-turned-watchman Savi Sidhu broke the internet a few days back, many people from the film fraternity later came forward and showed their support for him. The latest celeb to do so is singer-composer Mika Singh. He has given Savi a role in his next production film. Earlier, Mika had promised on social media that he would be helping Savi and looks like the talented playback singer has kept his word.

Last week, we exclusively informed you how Savi got a call for an audition and today it was Mika Singh who made our day by giving us one more good news. Because of the Punjabi singer, Savi will now be seen in Bhushan Patel’s directorial venture Aadat which stars Bipasha Basu and her hubby Karan Singh Grover in the lead. That’s not all! Mika has even asked Savi Sidhu to join his team and stop working as a watchman. Now that’s a very generous offer, no? It all happened when a friend informed Savi that Mika was trying to contact him. Later, when he actually received a call from the Mauja Hi Mauja singer, Savi thought it was prank but then Mika finally sent a car for him.

Savi Sidhu will start working in the next 10 days. Mika has requested writer Vikram Bhatt and Bhushan to include Savi in the film Aadat and has promised that he will be finding more work for him. Savi Sidhu, like many others, had come to Mumbai from Lucknow with dreams of becoming an actor. He got into the industry with Anurag Kashyap’s Paanch but that never saw the light of the day He then went on to work in films like Gulaal, Black Friday and Patiala House. But Savi took a break from acting after his health started deteriorating. It took him a year to recover and when he decided to come back, calls had already stopped coming and all the connections were cut. With no acting job in hand and no chances of being visible, the actor had to finally take up the job of a security guard in a plush Mumbai society.
