The ensemble film Mission Mangal is in the spotlight since the day makers launched the first teaser of the film and later the trailer. Now the latest update is that the film will have its premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne in Australia on Independence Day. Considering the theme of the film, the festival will screen Mission Mangal on August 15.
Making an unusual decision of premiering a commercial film on the same day of its domestic release, the IFFM was steadfast to have the screening for the Indian cinema fans in Australia. The film revolves around the first-ever interplanetary mission by India and will celebrate the victory that the country achieved back in 2014. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menon and Sharman Joshi in pivotal parts.
Talking about IFFM, the festival begins on August 8 in Melbourne and will open with Rima Das’ directorial Bulbul Can Sing. The film will be presented by Shah Rukh Khan who will be gracing the festival on its opening night. For more updates and gossip, stay tuned to CineBlitz.
