Though we may see many celebs getting body shamed even now, there are some ladies from the tube who have shut the trollers up. Rather than letting body-shaming remarks affect them, these plus-size actresses from the tube went on to lead and they have only helped us break stereotypes. From Anjali Anand who played a quintessential daily soap actress to Bharti Singh who changed the comedy scenario in India, here are 5 women for whom weight has been just a number.

It takes a lot of courage to laugh at oneself and comedienne-turned-actress Bharti Singh has that courage. Yes, she laughed at herself while she made others laugh. And while she has been taking her plus-size quite casually, this amazing woman has time and again proved that she is not any less talented than the others. She was amongst the top 5 contestants on the stunt-based reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 9, and is also seen on Khatra Khatra Khatra. Way to go, girl!

Another actress who ruled the small screen and did so with the way she was is Delnaaz who used and still uses her plus-size as her stand-out feature. The beautiful lady is now ruling the theatre circuit. In fact, Delnaaz has also featured in some films and she proudly owns everything she has, from tonnes of talent to her extra kilos.

She then went on to play a grey character in Kulfi Kumar Bajewala. Her amazing performance and confidence is truly inspiring. Other than being confident, Anjali is also quite fashionable and she absolutely loves how she looks.

Another gutsy woman who embraced her plus-size is actress Rytasha Rathore. This badass woman played a typical bahu on the small screen and she broke the petite mould. She was on the show, Badho Bahu.
