Sooryavanshi actor Mrunal Jain, who has played lead roles in TV shows like Uttaran and Bandhan, has no qualms about doing TV shows again. The actor, who was last seen on the small screen in the show Nagarjuna-Ek Yoddha in 2017.

Asked why he hasn’t been seen on TV for such a long time, he said, “It’s not like I don’t want to make a comeback on TV. Uttaran was a game-changer for me and I would love to do something good and different. Honestly, I have tried but not been chosen for roles and somehow, things haven’t worked out. Mrunal, who has a chiseled body and six-pack abs, had said in an interview that it has probably gone against him as an actor. Asked to elaborate, he shared, “Ye industry mein jo dikhta hai, wo bikta hai. I don’t want to blame anyone but some people have this wrong perception that I only work on my body and not my craft. For me, staying fit is a way of life and it’s also about motivating my fans to stay fit. However, it seems to have backfired.”

Mrunal and his wife Sweetie are all set to become parents next year. Talking about it, he said, “I am really excited and I hope for a mask-free world for my child.”
