Another super exciting season of one of televisions most loved dance reality shows Colgate and Maruti Suzuki presents ‘Dance Deewane’ on COLORS came to a close today. Over the last few months, the show has entertained us with breath-taking emotional, mind-blowing performances. Bollywood’s original dhak-dhak queen Madhuri Dixit, Dharmesh Yelande and Tushar Kalia not only mentored but also motivated the contestants throughout their Dance Deewane journey. Hosts Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa entertained the audience with their antics and tickled our funny bones in every episode. As we draw the curtains on the third season, the finale was a close call, with second generation’s  Piyush Gurbhele from Nagpur and his partner Rupesh Soni emerging as the winners.  Winning hearts of millions across the nation, Piyush and Rupesh took home the trophy, a prize money of INR 40 lakhs and a Maruti Suzuki S-Presso.

Piyush Gurbhele and Rupesh Soni impressed the judges and the viewers alike with their remarkable performances. Versatility was their biggest asset  and with every act, they raised the bar of the competition.

Piyush Gurbhele, winner of Dance Deewane 3, said, “I am excited, happy, thrilled; feeling so many emotions that can’t even express. It still feels like a dream and I cannot thank the judges Madhuri Ma’am, Tushar sir, Dharmesh Sir and everyone who guided me and Rupesh in our journey.  I would also like to thank the audience who supported us and put so much faith in our art.” Rupesh Soni added, “This is a big win for me and my partner Piyush. It was a great journey performing in front of celebrated artists who helped and guided us throughout. This show has opened so many doors for us to make a successful career in this field.”

Produced by Dreams Vault Media, the ‘Dance Deewane’ floor was indeed on fire during the final episode as everyone had their ‘A’ game on. The six finalists had the opportunity of performing with the judges for one last time before signing off. The judges, on the other hand, were caught by surprise when some people unexpectedly appeared on stage to show off their hunar! Mithun Chakrabarty, who will be seen on COLORS’ newest talent show ‘Hunarbaaz Desh Ki Shaan’, led the charge and gave a sneak-peek into the upcoming show, while presenting some of the potential participants. Mithun Da had a great time with the ‘Dance Deewane’ finalists and they ensured he performed Gunjan’s iconic dance move – that won everyone’s heart! It goes without saying that the highlight of the night was when Mithun Da and the stunning Madhuri Dixit performed to their retro number ‘Pyaar kabhi kam nahi karna’!
