Aditya Pancholi, who has been accused of threatening a car mechanic, has refuted all the charges. A case of non-cognisable offence has been registered against the controversial actor at Versova police station, Mumbai. The complainant – a car mechanic named Moshin Kadar Rajapkar – alleged that Pancholi used profanity, abusive language and also threatened to kill him over a financial dispute. Police are looking into the matter and further investigation is underway.
Pancholi in his defence says, “This mechanic has my Land Cruiser in his possession for almost a year and I have paid him over lakhs of rupees to him, but he has still not finished the work. Why would I threaten him and if there is a money issue ask him to show the bank statements.”
The Versova police has lodged an NC against Pancholi after Rajapkar in his written complaint stated that the actor had called him in for the servicing of his car last year, but it could not be carried out as some equipment was unavailable. Following this the car had to be transported to Delhi and then brought back. The cost of the entire process came to be around Rs 2 lakh and 80 thousand. According to the complainant, Pancholi used foul language over the telephone, when called to settle the dues.
