Netizens grill Royals Meghan and Harry for not addressing Prince Louis correctly

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been quite the eye-catching couple since they became an item back in 2016. However, this time they’ve been grabbing attention on the Internet, and not for the right reason.

Prince William and Kate Middleton celebrated the 1st birthday of their youngest son, Prince Louis, on April 23 and took to Instagram to post some adorable toothy snaps of the little tot.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share these new photographs of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday tomorrow 🎈 The photographs were taken earlier this month by The Duchess at their home in Norfolk.‬

Prince Harry and Meghan even commented on the post from their official joint handle, saying, “Happy Birthday Louis! Sending lots of love from both of us.”

A really cute gesture, indeed! However, netizens were quick to point out that the little boy was not addressed using his full title, i.e. as Prince. They were infuriated that the couple referred to him as ‘Louis’ and not ‘Prince Louis’, as he is actually ahead of them in line for the throne (Prince Harry being 6th in line and Prince Louis being 5th).
